Star Power Dance Competition + Thunderstruck Competition

We had a super quick girls day trip to Murphreesboro, and had a great time (even though we were both exhausted that night)! She is so thrilled SJ auditioned and was accepted to the Academy next year! Can’t wait!

FIRST place!!! AWOO!!! You can’t place twice for both solos 🙄, but BOTH received platinum!! 


Then, she performed her two solos only at Thunderstruck competition at Alabama Theatre! Only a few dancers from LDD performed, and the music didn’t work for Awoo, but she was so tough ~ even with an audience without any applause 😂 since she was by herself and didn’t have any LDD dancers there yelling for her! It was super weird and didn’t feel like the normal audience 😳! First place/Lightning Gold/eye of the storm (overall highest scoring solo) ⚡️⚡️

KAR competition

This girl has been completely ON FIRE this dance season 🔥! For only her second year of competing a solo, we are in absolute awe every time she places in the top three...now FIRST PLACE! This was SO MUCH fun, and watching the results on live stream were even more FUN! Her teams did amazing, too! We wish they were still able to be on stage to get awards, but I made sure to screen record in case she placed or received title...and she did!! This was the only competition where she was eligible (age requirements) for it, and she won the TITLE of Miss Junior Dance + elite top first for both solos!!

Just a post devoted to my favorite little 3 year old girl!! She loves school, art, cuddles, and fun days with Mommy! She can still be very shy and introverted, but the  the next day talk non stop!
