A good day for a good day

Just getting out and hiking at Horsepens 40 was such a nice outing. This is definitely Sam Nolan’s thing and he loved being our guide through the rocks. He truly has a heart of gold and is super helpful, even when no one asks him to be. So we decided to give him a good day of hiking and ended with the ultimate surprise, his own phone. We hadn’t had Wi-Fi for a long time, he couldn’t play with his Trussville friends with gaming, so the gift of communication seemed fitting. He is very responsible, we set limits, and he has obeyed them all. He deserves the world. 

And then there’s this one. 🤦🏼‍♀️
