And he and Delaney didn't disappoint. Eric received a canopy (with a screen attachment not shown) that we will use very often this summer. I think I might have been a bit excited to get it, too.
It's the small things in life...
Delaney also answered some questions about her Daddy that made him smile. :)
But another reason why being outside was even more fun was because our air conditioner had conveniently decided to go out. So cold water, shade, and a cool breeze was needed.
And maybe a nap or two.Our activities for the day were outside-related, and it was nice to take a relaxing break. Delaney tended to Eric's eye (he had an eye infection), by pretending to be a doctor.
Sam Nolan scooted around in his walker.
And then later on, we took pictures of our growing baby boy. His hair is finally growing in, and it's looking like it may have some red in it! Irish boy. Apparently, I hadn't bought the white onesies to fit him for the photo session. Sports onesie it is!
Our nicknames for Sam Nolan include: Shiny eyes, Gus Gus (Delaney thinks he looks like the mouse from Cinderella.Haha!), and Buddy.
Things he loves: being talked to, bathtime, seeing Delaney jump around, being tickled, the sound of a crackling bag, Eric startling him, and going for rides in the stroller.
Things he doesn't like: not being held and not being fed when he says it's time. Like mother, like son.
Favorite foods at five months include: Carrots, sweet potatoes, all the 1st stage fruits. Really everything 1st stage except sweet peas and green beans. He eats two jars of baby food at each sitting, so he's got an appetite to say the least.
He is babbling, drooling, and making bubbles with his mouth. His first tooth will be coming soon!
