Catch up

I will try not to go this long without a blog post again, but I basically underestimated my alone/work/anything for me time. So, this blog will be long since its way overdue. It will be little tidbits from the past couple of months. Sam Nolan is growing so fast that I literally woke up one morning and he was an official toddler. He is now 19 months old and into everything, including cooking bowls, daddy's drawer in the morning, and books. Boy does he love them! I'm so glad since I haven't been as "on it" with him as I was with Delaney. He also eats A LOT. Steak, chicken, whatever and whenever. I literally have forgotten wipes, but NEVER will I forget peanut butter crackers or snack. Here are some typical shots of him. Yes, most in the bathroom. I do what I can...

Getting into Daddy's stuff. Eric couldn't figure out why his glasses were bent. Ummm...

I promise he has a clean shirt, but can't keep it clean more than 10 minutes. Eating something I'm sure. Here we are reading books and him REALLY needing his musical toy. :)

Then, here are some pictures from our wonderful beach trip we took! It was our first time taking Sam Nolan as a walker. He, of course, didn't like the sand. My children are more "pool kids," but Delaney's search for shells kept her wanting to come back to the ocean all the time we were there.

Snacks.

Girl pose.

Sam Nolan would count and put up his fingers. "1,2,3(really high pitched). So cute.

Our family tradition of getting the cheesy airbrush shirts continued.

Along with touristy stores and old timey pictures. Delaney said it was Mary Poppins' outfit.

And Sam Nolan enjoyed every bite of everything we ate down there. Everything.

So most of his pictures will be of him eating something. Love my little cookie monster. The week before school started, I took a friends little girl for the week since she had to work. Delaney had a blast!

I loved how they talk with each other and even had a discussion on who was going to marry this boy from a magazine! Oh Lordy help us!

Pedicures happened the next week. :)

Can we say relaxing? Ha!

We attempted (and failed) to put SN in a toddler bed. They both have serious bed head in these pics.

Worth a try, but not gonna happen for our little cuddle bug. He'd rather sleep here.

All the time. Oh well, I do love it. Until he cries when I need to really do stuff. He's not into a certain stuffed animal to sleep with, but he loves his blankies. All of them. He's not picky, but he must have one to fall asleep. :) He is going to the daycare once a week, and they have told me he walks around with it all the time. Picture the Charlie Brown character. He is into coloring and learning songs. He knows the gestures and words to several songs including itsy bitsy spider and if you're happy and you know it. We have been learning about animals and we love to fill up bird feeder and watch them fly around.

We went to Mcwane last week, no crowds since school is back in session. Loved it.

Me and Delaney being silly. She has gotten in to wanting to put lipstick on in my car.

She has also learned how to ride her bike (with training wheels) by herself and put a 24 piece puzzle together without help.

We then proceeded to buy puzzles all week. I love puzzles, too. Sam Nolan loves destroying them for us. :)

They are so much fun to have with me all the time. I am so happy to be home with them. It's not as structured as I thought it would be. But our days are full of playing, learning, and cuddling. It is the best time of my life, and I hope theirs, too. And I get to do it all over again tomorrow.
