3 months old!!

These two turned 3 months old this month! Each month we’ve been nicknaming around the holiday and Shep was our little butterball Turkybamd CeCe was our Indian feather. :) Shep is awake most of the day. He is eating 3 oz every 3 hours and has started cooing. Sweetest sound ever! I could watch both of the smile and coo all day. He still doesn’t love the pacifier, which makes it harder to get him to nap.
I love dressing them alike.

CeCe is smiling and cooing, too! She drinks 2oz every 3 hours and naps more than Shep. She loves to be held!

Christmas pj photos
It started out great...

Not so great ending. But we love his pout face. :)
Happy girl!

Delaney got a new haircut! Pretty girl!
After bath time, everyone is happy, so I try to take pics of the smiles. And cute booties.

Holiday Time!!

Because we just really love the lights and festive decorations, we put up our Christmas things earlier than usual this year. We always love looking through the ornaments and picking out the ones for each of our trees. We bought a new tree and Sam Nolan was into the box and having a blast pretending. I loved it!
While we were busy decorating, Shep and CeCe were just napping away.and posing a little.

For Thanksgiving, we made acorns out of butter butter bars, chocolate dipped marshmallows, and cupcake emojis.

This. This is the picture of what we do on the regular during the holidays. Enjoy this room, the fire and dancing to holiday music. Delaney had a captive audience. :)

We also had our very first fall photo session with Stacy Wooten (also one of the nicu nurses who took care of our CeCe and Shep). That day was a disaster from the start. A flat tire on the van, traffic back up, and a 1.5 hour drive with crying babies and tired kids (and husband), made this session one to remember. The images aren’t perfect since the babies are crying, but it’s just our beautiful mess. We will never forget this attempt for perfection at this “very first family of six session”, and the way God quickly reminds us to have patience and let the small things go. I actually really love this picture. Blessed.

At the very end, I knew that these wouldn’t make the Christmas card cut, so I told her to just take a picture as we are, no trying to calm down the upset babies, cranky kids, or “trying to be a good sport” hubby. My favorite image of our beautiful, crazy, but absolute blessing of a life. Our hearts are wonderfully full...as is our house. :)

Indians and Turkeys

Sam Nolan has his Thanksgiving program today and decided to be an Indian! I had to take a pic of my favorite Indian and his little turkey buddy.

CeCe woke up and got in on the turkey action!

My cute little turkeys!
