Thanksgiving 2020

This year, we opted for a beach trip for Thanksgiving! Everyone loved the change of scenery and getting to relax by the pool in November! Shep was hilarious and is going to be the life of the party as he gets older!
Sweet girl comes alive at her happy place. She is so relaxed and content here.
Of course, they swam and ate snacks pretty much the whole time!

The sleeping situation got a little crazy since Shep has now figured out how to crawl out of pack n plays...3:30 wake up calls made for longer days. Good thing they are cute. :)
Delaney got her hair cut 6 inches while we were at the beach, so this pic was pre-cut. I love the littles

Sunkist lover.

Last day was spent at OWA! They rode all the rides and played games.

Thankful.

Spirit of the Season

The holiday season has picked up quickly and we are trying to hold on to ALL the memories. This season of life has proven to be a little more tough (especially trying to take pictures) due to school closing with covid, sports and activities delayed, sick kids, crazy toddlers, one tweenager, and a kid who goes with the flow a lot more than I wish he had to. He did get to see Santa at his latest baseball tourney! He loved playing for one of his dad’s old coaches and the coach loved seeing him pitch just like his dad did for him.
Into it all. Including a wrapping paper holder!!

Not necessarily yogurt season, but who’s judging?

These two were ALL ready to help decorate for Christmas. It’s a whole new experience this year since they are fully aware of the little breakable stuff, glittery stuff, and just basically anything and everything you don’t want them to touch. It was a full time job with this crew, but memory made. ✔️

New favorite toy. We use this to “talk to Santa”.
I love that Delaney and Sam Nolan are at an age that they understand this season of life is a little more full (of a lot of things). Going through life with quadruple the disciple, quadruple the noise, very little privacy, and shared attention can be tough I’m sure. Especially when you have siblings taking up so much energy at the exact same time. But I pray they also understand that it’s life full of an extreme amount of love, laughter and the best built-in-BFF that God wanted them to walk through this life with. It’s hard to realize in the moment (and they don’t get near the credit they deserve), but I felt the need to document that special part of them. They are amazing. I’m not sure how we got so lucky, but it’s just incredible how God has blessed us with these kids. *And maybe those super sticky kisses they get from their little siblings will be a treasured memory one day.

The only “family” pic of the day. Sorry, Daddy.

At what age will this tradition end?? I can’t wait to find out!
Trees in our bedrooms! Pink for this girl.

Delaney and I have the best time picking out wrapping paper. This year we had to get multiple for each child. Everyone has a paper that matches their personality. :)
Baseball season continues! My SN is playing for teams in Trussville, Springville, Birmingham, and Cullman! Can’t wait!!
AND popsicle season never ends. We have tried to end it.  This is how he eats one. Strange!!

Just another day in 2020!

Even if the presidential election of 2020 doesn’t turn out the way we had hoped, I was so happy they had this fun experience of “voting” at school. They voted on Oreos vs. Choc. chip cookies. I wish it was so easy for the real election!
My little republican!

The next day, we had a mommy-CeCe date! Target, Starbucks, and crafts...how perfectly CeCe! Another day in our little paradise!

Obsessed with her new snow globe!

Crafting CeCe style! Lots of Pom poms and lots of glue!
