June Fun!

Delaney had a last showcase with her dances. They had to social distance, wear sneakers, and rework choreography for concrete and distancing. I wasn’t able to make it, but a sweet friend took these for me!!
Sweetness.
After the showcase lunch!
Sam Nolan gets a LITTLE dirty at baseball practice these days...
Delaney gets to have dance practice outside!
It was so nice to get back to a normal spring activity like baseball! We’ve missed this so much!!

Delaney dressed for LB and Gary’s wedding!

Slammers 9u
Bubble fun!!

These two boys may be very different heights, but they dominated the mound! Sam Nolan doesn’t do a mean face. Happy is his thing. :)

Just like her Bubba, CeCe is all smiles. She asks me to “cheese” her.

Father’s Day love. After a long day at the ball park, nothing says “we love you” like a bug salt gun and can keeper. Shep is ready for the salt shooting tomorrow. 😂

Gulf Shores - with D and SN

We were so thankful to get a little time away with our bigs. Being able to give them our full attention for a little bit was good for everyone’s soul. We missed our littles like crazy, but it was nice to have a little breather!! We went down on Wednesday afternoon, and were able to hit the waves early the next morning. They loved being able to play as long as they wanted without pauses for naps (although they were also had by most of us-but only when we wanted them).

While we were soaking up the sun and waves, our little sweets were having fun with their grandmothers! Shep has the best time with little friends!

My princess!
On our way to parasail!

They had the best time doing something they’ve wanted to do for a long time! Check that off the list!

Ready to go to our fave spot! The Oyster bar!

Trying to get a pic outside in the sun ☀️
I’m so proud of how they have adapted to life as a big family and all the amazing gifts that brings...along with tons of craziness and frustrations at times. During this chaotic time, it has been even harder to make sure we are guiding them in the right direction, while protecting their young hearts. This trip gave us time to have those meaningful conversations, just the four of us, with no distractions. Watching the waves and all the beauty at the beach always brings a calmness and peacefulness that we were definitely craving. Happy place for sure. God has truly blessed us with these four treasures beyond compare. We were so happy to have made some more memories with just the two of them for a weekend! My heart could burst.

We ended our trip with Fat Daddy’s and a first place finish.:)
