Really just here for the skittles...
Delaney being off on Fridays has been such a sweet blessing. We are able to connect and discuss things that are on our hearts while walking and eating without distractions...just the two of us. This age is a new journey for us, so keeping communication with her open and honest (while choosing words carefully) can be hard and mentally draining. We are so glad to not be navigating middle school drama right now with all that is going on in the world. The week is tough when she is dancing until late at night during the week. She loves it, but we miss her. So a long three day weekend for all of us. It’s been absolutely good for our soul.

NEW milestone!! CeCe is in toddler bed. With twins, we have learned to take one step at a time when trying to tackle a new milestone. They are still in diapers during night time, but we will address that another day. Shep is also still in crib. Another day.

I have been following Cooking with Brenda Gantt in FB, and I have been obsessed with making biscuits lately. I FINALLY got the recipe right, and they taste just like Papaw’s biscuits. I’m a little proud of myself for sticking to it and getting it just right. :)
