Fall/Christmas Time 2015

Of course we started off our fall season with our yearly tradition of a photo session...

Sam Nolan goes from "dressed up" to this...
 Genius. :)
During the month of October, Trussville turned "pink" for breast cancer. This is Delaney's class.
Then, it was the 50th day of school and she wore some more pink. :)
 The girls!
Sam Nolan had so much fun at his fall festival!!

 He LOVED the snake!!

Moving Day! We are so excited to be in our new house!
Halloween was about a week later. Mal from "The Descendants" and "Miles from Tomorrowland".

Delaney's cheer competition was on the same day as my Santa sessions, so Santa and Delaney celebrated her 2nd place win!
 At school the next day...
Thanksgiving fun in the leaves!

I've been wanting to do a "rainy day mud session" with the kids for a while. I will hang them in their bathroom. :) I went with a "film/black and white" look. Although Sam Nolan had no part in it (he cried and would NOT get in the mud), Delaney did great. :)

Bahahaha!! I LOVE this face. It's her "OMG!" face. :)
Pedicures soon followed. She went with a little festive snowflake on her big toe.
Our new addiction for the Christmas holidays. SNOWMAN cookies from Starbucks.
Then, we went to the festival of lights at the Bham racecourse (hot chocolate made it so much more of a treat).

This year, we are doing the Jesse tree during Advent to prepare our hearts for Jesus' birthday. It's such a fun way to help kids understand the meaning of Christmas.
I am using this book as a guide, which I found on pinterest. The kids will be creating a different ornament each night that goes along with the verse/story of the night. They also get to unwrap a Christmas book that we read after our craft. Then, we will donate them to the kids' classrooms.
 Our supplies...
I'll end this blog with a picture of our house all lit up for Christmas (maybe a big much, but it's our first year here)!!
 We are READY for Santa!!

Love Our Crazy Life

We are a little "all over the place" and so is this blog post. It's not in order, a little chaotic, but super fun, just like us. We took the kids to "Build-A-Bear" where SN made his very first stuffed toy from there! Hulk Bear.
Getting ready to stuff Elsa Bear.
Delaney loves all the "process/steps of building".

 Sam Nolan, not so much.
 Finished bears!
We loved making lego cars to race.

 Eric definitely got into it.
Cute thing SN has said lately. Eric has been going out of town a little more than usual, and he had to make a trip to Miami. When he returned, SN asked him if he had fun in "Your-ami" (he thought it was my-ami). :)
Delaney's new friends in her class this year. She is LOVING first grade! Go Huskies!

She already received the "Good Citizen" award!
 Picture Day 2015.
Picture Day for little man, too.
 CHEESE!
We always make a trip to the Whistlestop Festival, and this year was no exception.

He HATES getting his face painted, so we were super surprised that he let her get this far...that was as far as we got until he pitched a fit and wouldn't let her paint anymore. Looked like a candy corn and not "Batman" like it was going to look.

The only family picture we've had in a while! Haha!
His teachers took this at school. My sweetie.

Funny faces! He thinks this is just the most hilarious thing ever.
 Whoo hoo!!!
Our little cheerleader! She can already do a back walk over!!

Tonight, we got in our new Halloween pjs! We are ready for fall and moving into our new house.
 Scary face
 Dancin' man.
