Pumpkin Princess

Our pumpkin carriage.

One of our little pumpkins before school...

Flying like a witch.

And onto some household news. We are a little sad to put this TV to rest, but we needed to get into present times.
So, happy birthday to us! :)

Someone's been sleepin' in my bed...No, it's just Delaney's morning routine. :) She loves to get in my spot while I get ready for work every morning. She gets to watch cartoons and relax with her Daddy before Sam Nolan wakes up.
But when he does, boy does he make some noise!
He turned nine months old on October 17th.
It's getting really hard to keep him still in the swivel chair. He absolutely loved making it rock back and forth.
Along with all things crackers, his new favorite food is Olive Garden bread (broken up into tiny pieces of course). He still sleeps great (7:30-7:00) most mornings, eats lunch (stage 3 veggie and fruit) and snacks, takes 3-4 (8oz) bottles a day, and a stage 3 meal at night. He mimics us when we say "uh-oh" and can shake his head "no" when we say, "No, No."
We also have our first fear.
Besides strangers that want to talk to him in a store, the horse gives him the creeps. I get it. Horses shouldn't be able to talk like that. :)
It all pretty much wears Delaney out.

Halloween fun with Friends

We are ready for Halloween and all the fun things that come with it!

Witches?? Check.
Scary monsters in coffins?? Check.
Pumpkin Patch with friends?? Check!!
Today, we went to our first pumpkin patch adventure. Complete with our awesome buddies!
We played in the cotton...
 Stayed on mommy's hip...
and surrounded ourselves with the friends who make us smile. :)

I couldn't believe Delaney finally rode a horse!

 Giddy up, Girl!
Sam Nolan chose to rest and eat crackers. He wasn't a happy camper when he wasn't being held.

 SOO much fun!
 Can you tell?
 Ashlyn and her daddy.
 Connor and his daddy.
All the girls with the babies! Love them!
 Daddy and his boy. :)
We rode on the hay ride to the pumpkins...
and enjoyed the company. :)
We are going to carve the pumpkins tomorrow. Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Sam Nolan doesn't look very happy in this picture, but Eric does his best. Sam Nolan will be nine months old in one more week. He now says, "Ma-ma" "Ba-ba" (he loves his ball) "Da-da." He can clap when he sees other people do it. He also loves a good game of peek-a-boo. He is also rocking up and down when he hears music. His best times of the day are usually morning and lunch time. He is not very happy in the evenings, but he's probably very tired from all the playing he does with his friends at JCA.
Sweet moment from Delaney:
Everyday after school I ask Delaney about her day. Yesterday, she played the Mommy role and asked me questions about my day. :)
Did you have a good day at school, Mommy?
Did you play games?
Did you learn with your students?
What did you eat?
Did you play at the park?
I think she started getting confused and upset that she wasn't with me during the day, so I decided to stop the question/answer talk and tell her that she and Sam Nolan are my only babies, and no one would ever take that spot.

Before, After, and In Between

Before we go to church...

 Before school.
After school... FYI-We are wonderful at coloring in the lines.
Before the game...Not sure why he's wearing a Bulldog shirt, but probably because he messed up his Bama one. :)
As long as he has the remote during the game, he's happy.
 Or a poptart after school.
Delaney is there to share a snack and give him a hug.
 And make him laugh.
 They love their poptarts.
He says, "Don't judge".
