Delaney is Four!!

After several parties and a rough, crazy week, we came into Delaney's room the other night to find this...
What is it? It's a picture of our family at the beach. The swirly stuff at the top is the ocean with sea shells as dots. The sand is in the middle and we are all around it. Perfect picture. Eric and I have had several conversations since I decided to stay at home about the things that matter most in life. We are in complete awe of our blessings and the true meaning of happiness. Not a day goes by, especially since I see how other children are raised on a daily basis, do I thank God for the children he chose to give us. Delaney was the first of our blessings and the beginning of our new path.
She's still our "early riser," "silly singer," and "light up my day with what you say" girl.
The other day she asked for us to tell her more about how Jesus died. After discussing it and talking about how he is in our hearts and all around us, she said, "Yes, I know. He's in my tummy and he's eating chocolate soup."
I am so upset that the pictures from Delaney's birthday parties have somehow been deleted. But believe me, the parties were wonderful. On Saturday, we went to the Wee Theatre to see Rapunzel and the Rabbit and ate at Burger King afterwards. Her friends Connor, Ashlyn, Cayden, and Sarah celebrated with her. She loves her friends.
At her princess tea party, the family came over to dine on steaks, baked potatoes, cake, and icecream with sprinkles. All requested from the Princess of the Day. :) Four!
On Sunday, we went to Ashlyn's 5th birthday party at Build-a-Bear. (all pictures taken with phone)

On her actual birthday, we skipped school and went on a girl's day adventure! Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and a "frosting donut" (glazed).
 FIRST pedicure! I think she's addicted. :)
No words were spoken the entire time...which means pure happiness.

She said this was her favorite part.
 Blue sparkles!
For lunch, she wanted "white dip" aka cheese dip. We met Daddy for lunch at Mexican.
Her new favorite thing to do this spring is roll the window down and stick her head out like a dog. I can't say I don't love it, too. Such fun we have!
