Sea World - Aquatica

On Friday, we decided to go to Sea World instead of Busch Gardens. Two reasons: To get to Busch Gardens, we had to go to Sea World first and take the one hour shuttle ride... didn’t want to wait. Secondly, our phones died. Both of them. It was a whole ordeal. We knew we had to get to an att store or somewhere in order to Uber or (more importantly) get in touch with babies. Sea World it was! All the pictures I had taken the day before (besides the ones I texted mom or on the iPod) were erased...along with what seems like our world. 😩 So, the blogged pics aren’t everything we did, but we decided to make the best of it and go photography free most of the day. Thank goodness for Delaney’s iPod. 😂
Their favorite ride.

*Just to document the memory* When we left Sea World, we thought we would take a taxi to the nearest phone store. After being told that most taxis wouldn’t arrive until 3, we thought we got lucky by finding a taxi parked in the waiting area. Not lucky at all. We ended up with a near death experience in the taxi, an altercation with another driver on busy highway rolling window down yelling profanities at our driver. There were warning signs: no cameras in the taxi, no meter in the taxi, but multiple prescription drug bottles laying around the floor 😳, I started praying and whispered to Eric who was sitting in front seat to “get us out of the car now”. We were dropped off at a run-down Waffle House on the side of the road. We went in, me crying with anxiety, and they told us an ATT store was a 1.5 mile up the highway. We started walking with our wet Sea World clothes and water shoes. We went into a car dealership (hoping they may find pity on us and drive us), they told us an ATT store was inside a mall up the road a ways. After walking what seemed like forever in the sun, we arrived at the mall...no ATT store, but an Apple store. After 3 hours, we had two new iPhones and 2 kids who took it all pretty well. Lesson learned: Uber only. Ever! Memory made. The kids will never let us forget. :)

So basically we fell asleep and woke up ready to make our last day the best day ever. It was perfect. We ditched the WHOLE Busch Garden idea and went for a wet and wild day at Aquatica. This turned out to be the exact non-planned day we needed!!

Dancing man!

We LOVED our time, just the four of us, together in Orlando. It reminds me of how important it is to us to plan these adventures and family time for our kids... instead of toys they have forgotten soon after Christmas. A trip we will never forget, but we sure are ready to get back to our other two baby loves!!! Missed them big time!
