Quality time

Delaney and I are enjoying our relaxing Saturday’s with no plans after flag football games. No plans are the best plans. :) So we decide to take time out to treat our feet and hands.

This week, CeCe had her first speech evaluation at Puzzle Piece in Homewood. We are hoping for a great speech plan for this girl.

Sam Nolan’s flag football team is undefeated. He is still loving it!! 🏈 We are loving how laid back it is for us since we can just show up and Eric isn’t coaching. ;)

This girl went back to doctor to find out she was still battling ear problem. One more ear infection and she must get tubes. The doctor also referred her for more speech therapy. Today, after 2 doses of powerful ear meds, she is talking more, happy, and back to sweet CeCe. Loving this mood.

Also, Delaney once again proves to be one of the bravest, confident girls I know...always stepping out of her comfort zone for what she wants to achieve! Proud Mama for sure! My girl is a ⭐️!!

My heart could explode!! 🥰 Their teachers said they had everyone laughing about how cute they were acting during their pictures. I was fully expecting crying pics...set the picture expectations low at this age—always. ❤️

A Mess

It started out a typical week, but quickly turned south. After CeCe had a double ear infection, we thought she had recovered from, Shep ended up with HFM. Again.
This is what my week looked like. A. Mess.

She kept a smile on her face at school. Sweet girl. She never let on that she wasn’t feeling good. 

My shadow let me know when he was a tad hungry, I wasn’t right next to him, or wanted milk...

And he wanted to hold lemons all week.


CeCe finally couldn’t take any more and stayed home to get better. Eric got the flu, Delaney had a fever virus, and now we are battling another bit of fever from CeCe after the initial antibiotics haven’t worked. All in the same week. 
He’s fine.

Sam Nolan managed to stay well and once Eric was over the flu, we went to SN’s first flag football game of the season. They won!! My boy works hard. 


No matter what the sport. No matter where we are.

But at the end of the day, this is where are meant to be. Praying for a semi-normal week without illnesses. I’m next, I guess. 🙋🏼‍♀️
