Firsts & Lasts

Shep’s haircut post-quarantine was the FIRST one he had where he was super happy and didn’t cry at ALL! Yay, Shep!

Just look at this beautiful sight! Super hero figurines have never looked so good πŸ˜‚. This week marks the first time Shep actually tee teed in the potty and initiated it! He has used it every time since then, so we have been celebrating big time the past few days! He has earned all of his superheroes since then, so hoping we are on the way to full potty-trained status!!

Playing together sweetly most days, a lot of the day...a huge first. Patience and manners are being taught heavily these days. I think we are entering the easier stage of being able to use time out consistently, understanding it, and learning from it. Lots of love and praise for those good behaviors...and LOTS of grace for a tired Mama. I love this age, but it’s exhausting talking so much πŸ˜‚.

Until you don’t want to wait your turn. πŸ˜‚
These three! πŸ₯°❤️

One in actual clothes and one in pjs. Toddler twin life. Thumbs up to popsicles!
Last day of school!!! Countdown to turning in the LAST assignment. She has woken up at 6 every morning to get it finished before dance. Her sweet teacher (who we adore) even emailed to see if she needed to post earlier 🀣.  Self-motivation...or persistence πŸ€”. Either way, an all A student. 😎 I didn’t get one of SN since he wakes up later and it’s complete chaos at that time. He’s also not as self-motivated. Not gonna lie, it’s a struggle to get him to WANT to do it. But he’s an all 4’s student!! Even more importantly, he recently memorized The Lord’s Prayer in its entirety (video so can’t post). So proud! Love my smart babies!!

Then, her school posted a “clap out” video for the fifth grade students. They weren’t able to go on all of their lasts for elementary school. Eric and I are so excited for her new school next year (not going to a real “middle school” is keeping her young in our eyes πŸ₯°), but this made the tears flow.
CeCe learned how to peel an orange, and she is the peeling queen now.

First time for Sam Nolan to play real football. I just can’t wait to see my love in that little football uniform and pads. The actual game comes second. πŸ˜‚

And...we finally got around to it. We updated this nasty bathroom. Our LAST project in this house.

And then we did this! Our FIRST time buying land and FIRST time building a home. Closing in June and then we can’t wait to start planning our forever house in Springville in the near future. LOTS of Pinterest, planning, and Pandy Agnew going on.
