LA Academy Dance trip!!!

This trip. What can I say??!! It was a first for both Delaney and I. Going on a plane without our family, renting a van, driving all over the city, attending dance classes, it was a LOT! We came ready to conquer “the beast” as Linda Dobbins put it. It was that for sure. It was a different world, and I’m not sure I was prepared…but Delaney sure was ready! That was the sole motivator in my wanting to go. She has the time of her life! Tons of memories for us to share. 

The dances you see on YouTube and Instagram are primarily in LA. The dance places she attended for classes are famous and the instructors were some she had only been able to view from afar. It was a great experience and truly special for these dancers. 

The playground was so much fun! You could view classes from the street and people would stop and listen and see what they were doing during class. So cool. 

This made her whole trip! Meeting a celebrity from dance moms!! 
She also had her solo choreographed by an LA professional dancer, Nick Lanziera.

AnnaMarie lives in LA, so she knew the spots the group would love. Malibu was my fave. 

Famous Malibu pier, they are filming a commercial and movie while we were there. 

One day was spent at Santa Monica! 

We went on a tour of the city and saw the Griffith Observatory and all the sights!
